Manchester United are now equal on points with Chelsea after they overcame Wigan at Old Trafford. Patrice Evra found the net with a great diving header, after his best mate Ji Sung Park send a mouth watering ball into the area. Evra celebrated as if he had won the World Cup and vows to “buy Park an extravegant Christmas present”, suggesting a new car would do the trick. If my memory serves me correctly his last goal was in the 7-1 mauling of AS Roma in the Chapions League a few years ago.
Javier Hernandez continues to impress and once again scored after coming off the bench. Rio Ferdinand said on Twitter after the game that the boy lives for scoring goals. That is a great sign for any United fans who may not yet be sure that this boy could be a big hit at the club.
Meanwhile, Tottenham came back from 2 goals down in the London derby to grab all 3 points at The Emirates. The goals were courtesy of Samir Nasri, Chemakh, Van Der Vaart, Bale and Kaboul with the winner in the 86th minute. I went to a wedding and could not believe my ears when I heard the result. Old Harry must have had some harsh, inspirational words at half time 😉 Chelsea fell to defeat at St Andrews, after Lee Bowyer got them all 3 points. One thing that really pisses me off is that Ben Foster has been amazing since his move from the Red Devils…How bladdy convenient!
