I am sure by now you all know about the transfer saga that was surrounding Manchester United and England striker, Wayne Rooney earlier in the week. It was said that Wayne was upset with the lack of ambition that United are showing with regard to signing new players and attracting big names! I know for a fact that there is no way in hell that it had to do with the club, because only four months ago Wayne was telling us all how he is “United for Life”.
After a few rumours made their way around Manchester, stating that one Wayne Rooney, would be joining Manchester City. Thursday night last week saw Rooney’s house stormed by over 35 Man Utd supporters and some say this had a positive effect on the England striker. The fans were clearly not happy when they vandalized a Nike advert with the strikers face on it, saying “Join Citeh and Die!” In my eyes agents have too much control over players and this gives the modern player too much power. These factors and things like higher wage demands, force agents to convince players about certain “negative” situations, which may not be so bad to start with!
