Complaints from many players and coaches alike about the thunderous noise of the infamous tournament ever present, the Vuvuzela have dominated many top football sites around the globe. Tournament officials have gone against any action and said it is what is unique about the WC 2010 in South Africa and will become part of history.
It seems that I am not the only person who is happy about this decision though. I am an avid drinking/borderline alchie 😉 and rather opt to use the Vuvuzela as a beer funnel rather than a fog horn, seeing as though my lips blew some blood vessels after the first Bafana game ending up purple and swollen.
Argentinian head coach Diego Maradona has lifted the lid on the decision and has seemingly joined my party, although his usage of the instrument more suits his infamous lifestyle habits 😉
Let me know what your views are about the banning of Vuvuzela’s in WC Stadium, as well as any other unique uses for the now World Famous Vuvuzela by simply commenting on the article. Sending the boys all my wishes for tomorrows vital clash with Uruguay, which the result will all but determine whether we make it through to the last 16…eish!
