Bafana Bafana will take on the US National football side on the 17 November 2010. The game is scheduled to kick-off at 19h30, a bit later than usual in order to accommodate International viewers. Gates will open at 18h30 and entertainment will be provided for the fans by a host of different parties! This should be an awesome atmosphere and we all know that American squeeza’s are abnormally hungry. Let me know if you are keen to join our corrupt party, which should embrace and, once again grace the fan mile with our presence from as early as 17h00 ๐
I recently did an event at the Cape Town Stadium, which was hosted by Rainbow Experiential and presented by none other than Gary Bailey. Yes, that old goal keeper guy that used to play for Man Utd from Supersport! Let’s just say he could notice I was the one with a big bek and insisted on keeping the microphone away from me. Haha, let me just tell you he is one lucky person…
We basically had to run 2 stations on the field for International guests who were having dinner at the stadium. I ran the penalty zone and I am sure Gary was a bit bleak with all the saves I was making, or, maybe he was just jealous that we actually have goalkeeper gloves these days ๐ Oh and yes I did play on that awesome surface for over 6 hours, with 200 perfectly pumped brand new Adidas Jabulani’s. I think tickets are R100 but I will let you know when I buy my own in the comments under the post. If you miss the geese of the World Cup and think you may have something to add to our extremely hooligan like vibe, please by all means feel free to join the excursion! The Bafana squad is looking good and I am extremely happy to see some white flavour in there, with the likes of Matty Pattison and David Somma of Leeds United finally making the cut! Oh and I just thought that Casa Blanca might make a great place for a few dops before and after as it is right by the stadium?
