As all of you by now know there was a helicopter that crashed at #UCT middle campus on Wednesday, 3 August. It is said that the craft was carrying 1 pilot and 3 passengers, who were filming and capturing pics of the new building on campus. No one was killed and only minor injuries were sustained.
But, here comes the interesting part! I knew straight away when I saw the stats in my Woopra (stats/analytics program) sky rocket, that it was going to a hit with views and sharing. Thanks to @MartinVisserCPT who alerted me as soon as it happened, which meant I was the first with all the pictures up on my site, whilst News24 just had a write up, with no pics!
To cut a long story short, I have been recognized as the main node/avenue for this story from the entire global Twitter network!!! I am not going to bore you on a Friday with all the text…They say a picture tells a thousand words, these definitely do! Thanks to www.bluelightdistrict.org for the mention and for doing this fucking awesome study! It was inspired by the Osama tweet incident, which saw his death leak just before it was officially announced to the public!
