As you all know I am trying to broaden my horizons when it comes to music and listening to a bit of Bob Dylan with my pops made me think that I was definitely born in the wrong era! White Collar Kiss is another one that is about to release their debut album at The Assembly on the 8th December, I am sure it will be well worth the R50 bucks. But here is something I found on my mates site No Bucks and let me tell you, I am very impressed with what I saw…
I went to school with most of these boys, but was a bit older and was therefore never really in the so called circle. Rob, Luke and Dayne stay down the road from me and I know they have always been into their band vibes. I am not a guru when it comes to this genre by any means, but I do have an eye for talent. I have recently taken on DJ Humerous in an attempt to help him break into the more commercial scene of music and I definitely think Juke Royal could be the next big local hit.
They are taking a big step moving away from the music for which they were know during the days of Checked Zebra, in order to make beats that are more amping and basically more rawkus! Well done boys, let me know when you have your next gig, would dig to come check it out! Have a look at their video to get a better idea of the way they are going. Rock out with your cock’s out gents, I hope you go as big as Goldfish!
