I came across this sick new 3D mapping company in Cape Town on Twitter, and, it turns out it is actually a mate of mine from AAA behind the marketing. Werner and 2 mates with animation and motion graphics experience in film industry have merged to set up a 3D mapping business for the SA market. With the way our local music scene is going, fucking hey I rate this is an awesome idea!!!
With more and more International acts coming down to South Africa, and, our very own artists like Pascal & Pearce signing with massive record labels, their timing couldn’t be better? Not only do they have the idea, but damn the boys actually do some awesome stuff already. I got them to send me some images and a video sample of their work and I really think they could be a big hit if they get this right!
Outdoor festival brands, please can you look into this because it will take the scene to a whole new level in my opinion. Instead of looking at trippy neon decor backdrops we could be taken on unique psychedelic journeys that suite each individual artists style!!! Now we are talking… Please Lord answer my prayers!
