Lies, Prejudice & Slander [STATEMENT]

After a Tweet I sent out yesterday created quite the stir on Twitter, I thought I would clear up what was actually meant.

I realise what bloggers jobs are and for those who don’t know; their whole aim is to drive views to their website. Some bloggers however, have portrayed me in a false light with lies, prejudice and slander regarding a manufactured reality! I may be vulgar and have a mouth that should require a bar of Lux now and then, but I would like to clear up this reality that has been falsely created and blown to extreme heights!

Regarding the tweet I sent, which I could have worded differently – that was silly on my part – BUT my jargon does mean something totally different to what many of you have interpreted! Because I can’t get my point across in 140 characters, I thought I would do a post to all females (and males) to address what was said.

My original (silly) tweet was “If you are gonna wear a skirt with no panties then you really can’t blame a brother for having a touch…”

Now, many of you people sending me messages, cursing and swearing at me have never followed me before, let me just clear up what was meant by this. The way I worded it, sounds pretty rude and can see how everyone took it as sexist. But I in no way intended for that and to anger the people I did.

People who have followed me for ages (females included) understand this and many of them have sent me messages re-iterating that! What I meant is that “Females like the individual that I saw, who sit in bars with short skirts and no panties, opening their legs revealing their private bits, giving drunk men naughty stares are just making the situation we have in SA worse. You try say that in 140 Characters!

If you don’t agree that this behaviour goes a long way into enticing men that don’t have any skaam, well then you are wearing blinkers!” This wasn’t something that I personally did, I was saying it hypothetically.

Back to my original Tweet: I refer to many things as having a touch. It doesn’t necessarily mean going up to her and groping her bits, but meaning she has indicated she is open to flirtation. Having a touch in my mind also means having a sip of someones drink, a bite of their sandwich or a drag of their smoke. It basically means a piece or a section in the way I use the word.

NOW after a few females attacked me (one from her personal and then business account after I blocked her) I suddenly was dragged into standing for rape, rape culture, sexism, violence against woman and the list goes on and on! Not to mention half their husbands telling me they going to smash my nose in and females wanting to “throat punch” me…

So I want to use my own platform to say sorry to the women (and men) who may have been offended by my tweet, but also to re-iterate that in NO WAY do I stand for violence against women, rape culture, rape or anything of the sort, that has been incorrectly stated by many others!

With the amount of female friends I have to think that I stand for the things I have been accused of, would be pretty much absurd and utterly retarded!

So to the people publishing articles like Marie Claire and Kitty, Lili and whoever else, you have twisted my words and made me into some public poster boy for things I don’t at all stand for! Once again I know this was trending in SA yesterday and as Marie Claire said in their article “the fairly unknown blogger”, proves that they were mainly writing about this to use me as a spin off for larger problems in SA and to drive hits to their blogs!

My tweet has been used by these tweeters/bloggers (and their online corporate identities) and turned into a manufactured piece of nonsense which has caused unnecessary and widespread outrage as well as defamatory action.

Take it, leave it, but I DO NOT stand for rape, rape culture, violence against women or anything of the sort.

That’s my clearing the Twitter waves and giving you an explanation of how a tweet which was worded and perceived wrong, can be used to stir up stories about one’s individual beliefs… It seems it’s not the first Twitter war this Editor Lili has had, which kind of raises an eyebrow for me! I am not here to attack people personally, you can get the just of her professional conduct in this blog post I found (http://j8kes.com/post/47015993357/mrcpt-liliradloff-and-women24-corporate-social)

I am sorry if using the word slut upset you all… To be 100% honest I don’t really have any other way to describe a chick that opens her legs, with no panties on, showing her private parts, giving men naughty stares in a club/bar. If anyone thinks that it is normal to do that, well then I just don’t know anymore…

No one should be allowed to touch a woman (or man) without consent!
