As you know, it’s almost time for the annual Cape Minstrels to take to the streets in celebration. The roads tend to be mayhem, with loads of family, friends, tourists, supporters and followers of the colourful dancers coming to witness the parade! As far as I know it starts at the Grand Parade in the CBD and ends at world renowned Cape Town Stadium. The carnival can make travelling by vehicle a nightmare, so I have attached the road closures for you below. Hopefully this makes your life a bit easier, the event will take place on Saturday 17 January, 2015!
Road Closures
The Tweede Nuwe Jaar parade will take place on Saturday 17 January 2015. Residents and visitors are advised to take note of the following road closures from 08:00 to 23:59 on the day.
