Steri Stumpie must be one of the coolest local brands in South Africa? Well they just confirmed that position in my mind when they arrived at my house with my very own, personal disco (in a crate). I went outside to find a team of photographers, and brand activators waiting for me with can only be described as a disco for two. The host was inside along with a bar, chess board styles floors, a disco ball, lights, tunes and a guest list. This is what the set up looked like, plus about 5 gardeners from the park across the road and 3 hair dressers from the salon next door!
They really did catch me by surprise and I must give them a round of applause for the awesome campaign they executed. They made me taste the new Steri Stumpie 1 litre chocolate and strawberry products, and, gave me a few of my own for the fridge at home! Obviously they are going to originally launch with their two favourite flavours, gradually introducing more as the product line grows… I have taken some shots of the product to give you an idea of what the design, packaging and closure looks like:
