The two most successful teams in English history will lock horns on the January 28th at Anfield after United dumped out holder City in the last round. 10 man City did well to fight back in the second half, but it was not enough to see them through to the 4th round of England, and, arguably the World’s biggest domestic cup competition!
There are bound to be fireworks after the racism incident between Liverpool star Luis Suarez and Manchester United Captain Patrice Evra. Let’s hope Suarez is back from his resulting 8 game ban in time…
This is sure to be the biggest game of the round and if seeing of City wasn’t enough for the red half of Manchester, they now go to their oldest rivals in an attempt to regain their FA Cup crown which was last won in 2003-2004. It has been a while and it would be great to add the 12th FA Cup title to the trophy cabinet! The tie will take place on Saturday 28th January at 14:45pm. I guess Origin Festival will have to wait until I have finished watching this one!
United have been boosted by the return of their midfield maestro Paul Scholes, who decided to come out of retirement to help the Red Devil’s to their 20th domestic title. Who know he could even add another FA Cup trophy and his first Europa League title to his weaponry by the end of this season too!
