Camps Bay Football Club kicked off their season on Saturday the 31st of March away at Old Mutual. The senior set up has the most players we have had in years and there is great vibe down at The Bay this year! In previous years some players have basically picked themselves because we have not had the numbers, but this year we actually had so many players we had to enter and additional 4th senior team! With competition for places at an all time high, the 1st & 2nd teams are pretty strong which is great…
Both teams managed to get 3 points on the road and the 2nd team should have won by a bigger margin, although we were pretty wasteful in front of goal. The 1st team on the other hand completely white washed a very average Old Mutual side… Probably the worst side they have had in years. Our next fixtures are at home vs De Beers (Saturday 14 April) and we would dig for you to bring some mates down to the pub (which serves awesome chow and beer on tap) and show some support!
