Crisp air, sweeping views of Table Mountain and Table Bay, and the experience of running through vineyards more than justify getting up early on a winter’s morning. Join TSiBA and Durbanville Hills on 13 June for a trail run to beat the winter blues.
Both the 5km and the 10km route start at 07.30 from the cellar and meanders through the vineyards growing in the valleys and on the hills. Walkers are welcome and a wine tasting after the run is included in the ticket price. Bookings can be made at Quicket and cost R80 and R100 per person depending on the route selected.
The run is the third in this year’s series arranged by TSiBA (Tertiary School in Business Administration), a non-profit business school in the Southern Cape offering tertiary education to students from diverse backgrounds. All the proceeds of the trail-run series are destined for its rural campus, TSiBA Eden, in Karatara near Knysna.
