Fives Futbol is a 5-a-side football initiative that launched in Cape Town just under a year ago and the brand has already shown some awesome growth, and, even more potential going into the future. Have a squizz at their interview on the SABC 3 Expresso Show!

As I am sure most of you know by now that I am a football fanatic. Fives Futbol is a 5-a-side football initiative that launched in Cape Town just under a year ago and the brand has already shown some awesome growth, and, even more potential going into the future. All of their sites are at capacity when it comes to the corporate league setups, which run from Monday-Thursday. They have recently launched a Sunday League setup at the Sunningdale site which aims at attracting the people who just can’t make it down during the week nights. The Fives Futbol brand is my official partner in football and my Mr Cape Town 5’s team is the current Monday night Division 1 Champions, as well as having won our last 17 games on the trot.

They also offer Ajax Soccer Schools which aim at developing young, local talent and provide opportunities/facilities for NGO’s, such as the MyLife Foundation! The brand is officially linked with @AjaxCapeTown and provides some world class, 3g astro turf courts for corporate/social & development initiatives! Two of the kids recently got signed for the Ajax Cape Town youth academy and this just shows the opportunity the facilities provide for our extremely talented youth. Ian Taylor (Ajax U17 coach) and founder Adam Fine were invited onto the @ExpressoShow to tell @Liezelv and the crew a bit more about the brand and where it is going in the future. I managed to find a digital copy of the interview and have included it in the article for those of you that may have missed it.

Have a watch, there are some BIG things coming from this brand and man, am I glad I saw the potential when I did. I am glad to be associated with the company and have even got involved in the coaching side of things to help them grow even more into the future.
