Inspired by the original Holi Festival in India, Colour Festivals have travelled around the world to Germany, the USA and Singapore – and now HOLI ONE launches in South Africa for the first time. The Cape Town leg will be held on 2 March at the Grand Parade and promises to be one HELL of a fun jol I rate!
Thousands of people, dressed in white, will come together to share in music, dance, performance art and visual stimulation. Revelers at the open-air festival will soon be covered in brilliant hues as the air is filled with the clouds of brightly coloured powder at a countdown, every hour from 2pm. The festival will host a line-up of some of the biggest DJ’s in the country.
Be part of the exhilarating experience, vibrant energy and mischievous behaviour when the Holi One Colour Festival comes to South Africa. For more on the line up, check out my next post… OH, plus I will be giving away tickets to the event because it’s always better when it’s free 😉 Check out their website and social media pages to stay in the loop with all the event news, announcements and how it will all go down. What colour will you be spreading?
