Summer is as close to paradise as it gets. The burn of the sun, the cool, refreshing touch of water, and the positive sizzle in the air make our spirits rise, bringing out the party-lover within all of us. It’s this atmosphere we crave, it’s the euphoric vibe that makes us come together, and it’s exactly what Sexy Groovy Love is bringing to the outdoor circuit this season.
Sexy Groovy Love is a boutique festival that combines all of the facets we love about the outdoor journey. That building anticipation during the week followed by the wonder of arriving at the utopian, dream-like venue. This is fulfilled by exploring, meeting new people and getting absorbed into the positive energy channelled from the wide smiles and good vibes.
Nestled snugly in Paarl, and just 40 minutes outside of Cape Town, is the strikingly beautiful Palmiet Valley Estate. It’s here that Sexy Groovy Love will embrace you, along with green trees and fresh air, a pool to cool down in, and rising mountains that adorn picturesque horizons.
Arrive early and revel in the lightness the day has to offer. Find a spot to chill on the wide, green lawn and indulge in the cuisine our gourmet vendors have prepared for you. Once you’ve fuelled up – and depending on what you feel like – take a stroll down to the pool, or explore the many decorative installations peppered throughout the festival. It’s all about discovery, connection and happiness, with an awesome genre-blending line-up as your soundtrack.
The atmosphere begins to build at 11am, pulls you in, and doesn’t finish until midnight. This musical feast is groovy and funky at all times, journeying from disco and deep house, then progressing naturally into techno. With every moment, every note and beat urging you to move, escaping the dance floor’s embrace will be a tough one.
As the sun sets and once you’re mesmerised, let Sexy Groovy Love usher you into a magical evening paradise with a kaleidoscope of colours, curiosities and activities.
