If you have never been to Mink & Trout, then this is the perfect excuse. Not many places in Cape Town offer such a good value for money 3-course meal, especially when a mouth-watering curry is your main course! This little gem of a wine bar and bistro on Bree Street is fairly small, but you’d never say so. It’s extremely open and inviting on first impression, with nice clean finishes in the interior.
They have just re-launched their famous Winter Curry Special, and it’s certainly one worth writing home about. It goes down every Tuesday night, with two sittings from 6pm – 8pm or 8:30pm – close. I highly suggest you book way in advance, as it is usually fully booked by the time people get wind that the special is back! So, here’s the deal.

Cauliflower, Dhal And Cashew Nut Korma served with a yoghurt and mint sauce
