Crumbs & Cream Sea Point!

There is no doubt about it. Ice cream sandwiches are the are the tasty treats on everyone’s lips at the moment in Cape Town. Now don’t be fooled, there are some people jumping on the popular bandwagon, but these guys are the pioneers! I attended the opening of the Crumbs & Cream flagship store in Sea Point last week, and was completely sold after the first bite. They had the best, warm, fresh cookies coming out the oven for us to try before we decided on our ideal mix of flavours.

How It Works!

Firstly you look at the choice of cookies you want from the options in the store. They include the likes of Oreo, Choc Chip, Rainbow, Peanut Butter, Red Velvet, Vegan Heaven and Banting options! I went with Oreo and Rainbow for mine. But the first I tasted was the banting cookie, which was delicious. What’s your flavour? Don’t forget to pick one of their spreads to “butter” your cookie sandwich with. Your choices are Caramel, Nutella, Peanut Butter. I went with Caramel.

Next up you move to the ice-cream options. They have some winners, and a flavour for every taste preference! They have all your usual favourites, plus sugar free which is only R4 more. The ones that caught my eye were Snickers (which I chose) and Ferrero Rocher!

Last but not least, choose from the toppings they have available. Astro’s, Oreo, Cookie Dough and more. I went for double Oreo obviously! The guys at the front desk are lank friendly, and always willing to give some advice on what goes well together, what’s popular, and provide some sneaky tasters!
