How does it work you ask? Using the Uber app on your smartphone, select your location and request uberCHOPPER. An uberBLACK will pick you up and whisk you down to the V&A helipad. On your ride down to the V&A, Cape Town Helicopters will contact you and run you through the various helicopter flips on offer. At the helipad, the flight awaits and your chosen chopper ride will be charged directly to your Uber account. When it comes time to leave – open the app and request an uberBLACK. There is no need for any cash or tips to driver or pilot – like all Uber experiences payment is cashless, automatic and hassle free.
